Lazeeee stamper

Because..now I CAN

HeHe played a little bit today with my new toy.....I'm looking at all sorts of boxes in a totally different light now!

This first one is my very first Bind-It-All project! Look in the bottom right hand corner of the cover of this notebook...see the "1"? I made my own acrylic cover (front and back) from a clamshell storage case of a TAC stamp set I had just mounted :) I had totally intended the 1 to appear on the back side, but I ended up binding it wrong so I decided to leave it as is...since it IS my very first one lol

Next up, is what happens when I go take a shower and have time to think about what else can be made into a notebook LOL The popcorn box covers are my fav by FAR! I had notepads I bought for something else and when I realized they were the same size....well, you can see what happened. The odd shaped one is made from some coasters I got from AF billeting...I cut loose leaf notebook paper into the same shape. The tampon box? Well, that's just FUNNY! Not an original idea by me, rather I saw someones etsy shop where she made them....LOVE it!

As promised

I made something :)

I had this on my list of "things I must copy for myself" and finally sat and did it. Alas, there is no stamping, but I did play with stuff so that should count for something, right?

It was hard to take a good pic of this, but I hope you can get a clear pic of it in your mind.
Paper: Sands of Time SWIC from TAC, Bazzill cardstock
Ribbon and Hardware: Hemingway collection TAC
Idea courtesy of PaperJewels (her site has the tutorial for it as well as a great video!...not to mention other cool stuff too!!)
This cube will live in the livingroom as a "home" for our remote controls.

A promise

Just so you don't have to click every day to see if I've made anything neat, I'm making you a promise.

Over this long weekend, I will make something cool...and come Monday when you click over here to see my blog, I will have made something and uploaded it here to share with you.

Have a great, happy & safe 4th of July!

Celebrate your freedom and stamp!!

The (next) BEST place for ribbon.

I love the ribbon that TAC sells, it's so convient to get such a nicely matched set to go with our papers. However...I really wish they would sell them in longer lengths, preferably in spools.

I've found a source that bridges that gap that I want to pass along to you for those times you want "more" of one ribbon for swaps etc.... it's Reasonable Ribbon.

Click on "Demonstrators" and it will open a page with TAC color matches for 33 of our ribbons!! (it's a link for everyone, not just demos!!) There are 2 "other" companies listed too..I've been a member of her monthly ribbon club for a year and I can say she offers top notch service and quality.

I am so excited!

TAC has just released their new catalog and I am so excited...not to mention anxious to get it!

I've seen lots of sneak peeks on Paper Wings from the gals who either already got it in the mail or recieved it at Seminar and from what I've seen, it looks like a pretty great catty! I was very happy that they didn't make another blue cover...I thought the last two looked too much alike ;)

Great Cover!!

GWP stamps...you get one totally FREE with each $30 ordered..I love FREE don't
you?

Level A & B Hostess sets...sooo easy to earn a Level A set...you qualify for one of these for FREE when your funshop or regular order is $100 AND you can get one half price item too :)

I really, really want that coffee set!!!!!! I wish it had been a new catalog set instead of a hostess set *sigh*

Score!!!

While visiting my husband today and stopping in for a quick chat with his boss, I noticed a bag of stuff sitting on the boss' floor.

"Is the stuff in that bag empty?" I say ...to which he replies "yes, they are"...hmmmm.... "are you throwing them away?"... Yes, he was.... as a matter of fact, he then went on to complain about what a pain in the butt it was to find our recycling center open to drop them off lol

They're now mine. Lots of tins that I can plaster paper, and ribbon and stuff all over hehe

SCORE!!!

Ink: (TAC) Palette Orangerie, L'Amore and Burnt Umber

I am a "stamp-a-holic"...and this is my story.

I'm a stamper at heart.

My story starts out like a lot of others do. I said I'd never stamp..I had bought some scrapbooking things and never really used them, so I didn't want to have the same thing happen with stamping things.

Well, in '04 came a military move that took me to a place where it would all begin. I made a great friend named Heather, she happened to be a CM consultant & she got me scrapping again.... for a while. Around March of '05 I think it was, she dragged me to an SU party hosted by a friend of hers...and then IT started. My love of stamping.

I don't know what is was about something as simple as putting ink, stamps and paper together to make a card....but for some reason, it made me feel happy. I soon signed up to be a demonstrator because I wanted more stuff and was in desperate need of a discount.

So then, sooner than we expected ('07), another move would come up, one that would bring me to Germany. As you can imagine, in that short 2 years, I had accumulated quite a bit of stuff, including furniture to store it all in. Weight and storage became an issue and I had remembered reading about unmounted stamps on SCS. It was there too, that I learned about The Angel Company. After trying their stamps I was hooked. I totally knew then and there that they were the company for me! Lower minimums, larger discount, better customer specials, AWESOME demonstrators...I was hooked!! But, I will admit....I did something crazy....I left them.

I'd gotten bored with our catalog and didn't really like the new one coming out and for a tiny while I was seeing SU in a whole new light. "Wow!", I thought "why did I leave? this is great!" so for a few short months, I left TAC (gasp) and went back. (Big mistake.) I missed the friendships I had formed on Paper Wings, the FREE Gift With Purchase stamps and the family feel of the company, among other things. So....you guessed it......I went back to TAC....for GOOD!!

So here I am. I'm a TAC Angel again :) Right now, I'm not holding Funshops & I am happy being a "hobby demo". If you want a catalog just holler and I will get one to you...but you won't see me out trying to sell or doing any recruiting.....it's just not where I want to be right now, and luckily, TAC is ok with that and as they say "Our wings come in all sizes" That's why I love them!

I'm in the middle of re-organizing and don't have anything new to show today, but don't worry I've got ideas in my head that will soon appear in paper and ink here. So, for now, I will leave you with this. I made it last year, yes, but it's one of those cards that makes me smile when I see it, because for me, this is what stamping is....following my bliss~ Enjoy!!
Thanks for letting me share MY love of stamping with you~ be true to yourself and follow your bliss!!
